The NEW King of the Forest

Anything that doesn't fit into the other three catagories

Postby Marinepits » June 9th, 2008, 2:37 pm

In the seven years that we've lived here, we've seen only a couple of bucks among the hundreds of doe that visit our yard.

We haven't seen the King (a 10 point buck with a HUGE neck) since early last summer. Apparently, we have a NEW King.

Long live the King!

Where are his antlers? And can you see his pee-pee and that is why you know he is a male?

His new antlers are growing in now -- they are the big "lumps" in front of his ears, LOL. They are still covered in velvet and won't be fully grown until late summer. Plus, he's much bigger than the doe, and very skittish, as all bucks are.

Who is the Chubba behind him in the 3rd photo? Looks like his pregnant wife.

What, did you just wake up? This thread is a few days old.

And, BTW all legitimate questions and comments.
