Percy's okay. He has a little more energy, but he's still sluggish. I think he's nearing his end :( He is an older guy after all.

But any other fish in the future will have a much better fishy-educated momma thanks to you :)

Dee, I've told you this before, but your pictures are simply STUNNING!! You need to get a job taking pics for aquarium magazines.

Seriously. :D

I stopped in to my local fish store about a week ago and they had Crowntails, which they don't normally carry. I picked up a male and female.

Here are a couple of pics of the male.

Are those live plants in your tank? How big is your set up (I am assuming you have either dividers or separate tanks?

It is really nice to see betas out of those f**ing bowls!

Those are awesome pics, btw, very good.

Thanks for the kind words about the pics! :D

No live plants for me, I have no luck with them. My tanks all have silk plants.

I have 2 Bettas in a 10 gallon tank with a divider, one in a 3 gallon and 3 in 2.5 gals. I wouldn't use anything smaller than a 2.5 gallon and really would prefer to use something larger, but don't have the space.

The bowls are disgusting!

Thanks, Call! :)

OHHH! a adore crowntails! I don't have any at the moment, but I love 'em!

I'll post some pics of mine next time I get a chance - I have 3 - Sir Funky Fin, Zed (I thought he was going to die when I got him - I felt bad for the guy and named him Zed So I could quote Pulp Fiction once he passed...that was a year an a half ago) and Victim, who is white with an orange faded head and red spots.

Betta pics rule! It's so neat to see other peoples'. i think once we move into the house, I'm going to get 2 more and put their bowls on shelves on the wall...kinda the same idea as the bowls that literally hang on the walls, but I prefer larger bowls than those. :fish:
