Could things get any worse??? Wally got attacked about 3 hours ago by my boss' male Rottie (obviously Wally isn't feeling good otherwise it never would have happened). Got picked up and shook and thrown to the ground. Only a scrape, no punctures, but he is EXTREMELY painful. And due to the GI bleed we can't give him any normal pain meds. I'm doing arnica tonight, both oral and the cream, and he's on panaway. And of course, now that he's painful he's not eating.

My poor Mr. Man.

Mickle took Teeny for me and she's gonna stay with her for a couple nights so she isn't jumping all over Wally man.

I don't think I've cried nearly as much in my life as I have today. It's just been one big crap storm. And even suckier, I can't even BE with Wally because I have to stay at work so I sent him home with my father.

Does he seem bruised even though he doesn't have punctures?

OMG poor Wally! I hope YOU kicked that rotti's butt since Wally wasn't feeling well enough to do so. >( Seriously though, I really hope he starts feeling better soon. Give him some gentle scritches on his butt for me.

He is definitely bruised. He screamed while getting up off of his bed to get in my dad's car. My poor baby boy :( This has been one fucked up day.

OMG sis....

I'd send my big Harley boy.... to bite the rottie but it would never happen....

but my little triscuit biscuit... she'll take the rottie out for wally.... and then since we call her the nurse dog, after she wipes out the rottie, she'll go lay near wally, and lick his booboo's

Thank you guys. Truth be told, I have loved this Rottie since even before I got Wally. And if the fight had been the two of them going at it, I think I would be pissed but that's it. But Wally was NOT fighting back, he was just trying to stand up (he didn't run after we got them separated, just stood there getting licked by the girls). There is NO WAY Wally wouldn't have fought back. And he didn't. Obviously he isn't well and D knew it and took that time to take him on. I think if it wasn't for Wally's 2" collar he would definitely have puncture wounds. D only had a good grip on him when he was shaking him. When he got him on the ground (his collar was then pushed up behind his ears) he was just more holding him there. I think D even freaked himself out with what he did.

But now, now I don't know if I can ever look at him again. If it was a two way fight I wouldn't have an issue, but it wasn't. Now I'm also afraid to bring Blue home with Wally sick (though Blue has never shown signs of DA even slightly), just because I don't want to stress Wally out at all.

Here's hoping it's not cancer and rather something else weird and we'll be done with this in a month or two. It'd better be. Otherwise I'll have to be committed.
