It was a really good pull for Soleil, she's getting a lot more consistent. What happened w/your girly?
There's an APA pull in Hebron CT the weekend before the UKC show/pull, wheels on carpet.

2169 and 3357#. 124 x her body weight.
There's 2 APA pulls

http://www.abra1st.com/index.php/abrashows/2008-best-of-the-east
and then one the same weekend as the UKC show/pull. I have to miss that one, of course, which sucks, because I'm trying to pick up more APA points on Soleil. She won her class nationally last year, this year she's in 3rd. Sigh.
The Beast of the East should have some good protection events.

Did you see they had a driviest puppy competition? A lot of the working events are only on one day.

We're gonna have so much fun to watch!!! Too bad it's for AB's only...
Guard Dog Temperament Testing

Irondog Triathlon
Fiestiest Puppy Contest
Tug of War
Sprint Race
Hardest Hitting competition
Canine Good Citizen Testing
Obedience Seminar
Dog Equipment Vendors

I've found this link with more details about this event!

It's probably not just for AB's. I watched my friend's staffy bull win driviest puppy at an NKC show, Xanny's competed in hardest hitting, sprint races, and has earned her Iron Dog III title. She's also failed the WABA BST twice, you need a scorebook for WABA. Oh yeah, she won a little protection tournament at an AB show, too.
