Hello there all. Just signed up to talk about my fav breed. I have 2 bulldogs. Chance is a 7 yo n/m pit/am bull x . He is the best friend I have ever had. I got him at my first vet tech job nearly 8 years ago. He is needless to say, a spoiled brat. I have had him since birth and bottle fed him. I also worked for a few months with a local dog training company. I learned alot and so did Chance.
Lili is a pit bull, she was supposed to go up for adoption when I lived in Charlotte, NC, but I couldnt let her go. So I guess I failed fostering 101. She is a 3yo s/f.
Hope to learn alot and make some new online friends !

PS: Purple, why do you always have to welcome people with the creepy dancing guy? We're trying NOT to scare people away, remember?

Well, if anyone here likes to ski you probably know about Gatlinburg, TN. Ober Gatlinburg ski resort that is.... Well it has many attractions, including a bear habitat. We have 3 enclosures with a total of 6 American Black Bears. We had 7 but our oldest, Nancy, sadly passed away during the winter hibernation. We basically clean the enclosures every moring and feed them. They eat all kinds of produce, grapes and lettuce being the favs. They also get a ration of dog food. I have only been doing this since last fall, but it is by far the most interesting animal care job I've had yet.
