Grrr... same woman, same dog - different duck!!! :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

This time I took pictures - thank God for good cameras and zoom.

This duck wasn't hurt, since it was one of the bigger ones.

WTF is it w/people??? Off to file another report.

Is this lady getting her jollies by letting her dog attack the ducks. I don't understand why she still letting her dog do it or just can't control her dog. Poor duckies.

I don't know, Missy - but she saw me taking her pic and called me a couple of names. lol
Her dog is a little black terrier mix, very tenacious little bastid. He looks like he's been doing this sort of thing for a while, the way he corners and attacks the ducks. :nono:

So she is letting her dog get that close to the ducks and letting it happen :cuss: :cuss:

Get her Christine!

oh that poor duck! :sad2:

I'm glad the rehab center will be pursuing charges on the duck's behalf...that idiot lady has no idea what kind of damage she's causing the ducks AND what she's allowing her dog to do. :nono:

I'm glad you took pictures! I'm sure she'll have more choice words when she's fined and has to pay all those fees!

She walks him without a collar OR a leash. Can't really blame the dog that much, it's in his nature to catch "prey".
But the idiot owner is a different story.

She most certainly has an idea... she's right there every time it happens. That's what's really pissing me off now.

I know you are filing reports but can't the police do something right then?? Her dog is not on a leash and she is letting him attack and hurt other wildlife.

I'd say "lets hope the dog is eaten by a 'gator" but then he really doesn't know any better and that isn't fair to him :rolleyes2:
Can the musokovy's not fly? I thought it was just the males when they're adult?

Ask the ACO about leash laws (which she is violating if you have them) and mandatory vaccinations. In cases like this, I ticket the owner for EVERYTHING I can.

My God!!! When Caroline and I got home w/Mick from chemo there was a cop car in my parking lot, plus the AC van. They were in the process of catching another VERY badly injured duckling and euthanized him on the spot.
Same damned woman, same dog. :x
This time lots of children and other neighbores around who witnessed the attack. I handed over my pics, and the dog was taken, since he bit one of the cops when they tried to untangle dog and duck.
No vaccinations, no licence, the woman almost got arrested because she got very belligerant.

Some people have such little regard for life, and wildlife in particular. :(

The owner was seen kicking and hitting the dog, and the ACO assured me that the dog will NOT be returned to her.

She faces all sorts of fines, and I hope her sorry arse isn't allowed to get another dog... I'll be keeping my eye on her.

NICE! Great job keeping on top of that situation, Christine!

I'm so happy for the ducks. :)

I have been checking this to see if the ACO came. Yeah they caught her and they should throw the book at her. :cuss: but now I am worried about the dog. Stupid owner, look what she has done. Her irresponsibility has now injured ducks and now her dog is in jeapordy. :(

I know.

Missy, the ACO told me that the dog is still a puppy (they think definitely under a year) and he will be vaccinated, neutered, and most likely adopted out to someone responsible. He is a tenacious little bogger and just needs a "job". :)
