My Petey boy turned 9 years old yesterday! I had to go dig up some puppy pictures of him to post along with his birthday pictures.
We gave him his birthday dinner and cake today along with lots of special attention.
Steak for dinner! And ice cream cake for dessert! His favorites.
And he could care less about the party hat - he wore it for about 1/2 hour until it slipped over his eyes - then he pulled it off.
Here are some pictures of Petey as a puppy. T
Teeny, tiny baby Petey - the day we brought him home. When we went to pick them up - Petey was dragging a 20 lb. bag of dog food across the floor. He was the most obnoxious of the puppies.
Mark used to get mad at me because the puppies would sit on my feet and whine, so I would pick them up & carry them around like babies. We still laugh about him yelling at me, "Put the damn dogs down! You can't make dinner with one hand while you're holding the puppies in the other!"
Petey with his Dad and the Gremlin as a baby up at the lake. He loved the lake - except for the turkeys who kicked the hell out of him & his sister a few summers before this picture was taken. (The Gremlin looks like the Michelin baby & it's obvious that Mark has been domesticated
The Gremlin & Petey up to no good. She got out the cereal and was feeding him Cinnimon Toast Crunch
And Petey with his big happy bully grin & tongue hanging out.
