Just because I'm bored, and nobody else is cool enough to live up here and suffer the cold with me.

I love Vermont soooooooo much!! It is absolutely gorgeous, and I love the weather, just not enough people and not enough to do for me for the long term, but it's great to hop up there on vacation.

Have you ever been to Burlington, Sis?

I have. There were too many drugs and dirty hippies (including a couple of my cousins) for me to be happy. And a sad lack of ocean (which I am obsessed with being able to see even though I hate going to the beach).

LOL nope no numbers sorry. But I do have a dead friend who was VERY anti-drug prior to moving up there and a family member who works at UVM who has talked about the immense drug problems in Burlington. I also saw a study done that showed Burlington having one of the highest heroin rates in the country. Unfortunately I didn't save the link to the study.

I loved Vermont until 2 years ago when we decided to go flyballin'...and camping too. In May. It was all good until the hail started (we were crated outside under a canopy). Then it snowed that night...we ended up sleeping in the van, with John's scooter parked in the snow under a tarp. SUPER.

It's pretty though!

But we also found out as we tried to sight-see in Bennington...that VT seems to be the state that the ADA forgot. NOTHING was accessible. Restaurants were not, gift shops were not. The big attraction...Bennington Pottery...nope, not accessible. Not by the pretty new stone walkway that ramped up...and ended in a step up.

At least we found an accessible winery...so John was finally happy. ;)
