Hi there,

I posted quite a long time ago on here so i'll re introduce!

My name is LIndsay and I am the owner of 1 pitt and 1 pit staffie mix as well as an assuie/border collie mix and 3 cats (I also have 5 little boys ages 7 and under).

We live in NE Iowa.
First dog is Sadie Mae she was a dog someone didn't want anymore she was a farm dog and the family was moving into town and didn't want to take her with them so we took her and she hates to even get her feet wet I cannot see her as having been an outside farm dog LOL

Next is piggles she was a bait dog and came to me as a rescue situation through my vet:) She's a 2 yr old spayed female.

Next is Buster, he and a sibling also came to me as rescues, she was adopted him we got attached to. He's 10 weeks old not yet neutered but will be LOL Currently working on housebreaking, stay, and leave it. I'm also hoping to do weightpulling with him at some point just for fun :)

Glad to be here!

Lindsay

Ooops photobucket won't let me shrink them to 300 pixels wide, but you can see pics at the links above :)

Yes the house is busy :) Having all boys so far is not horrible I do wish they were spaced out a bit more though. None of them is really old enough to be a little bit self sufficient and that sucks. Collin is my oldest and if I'm lucky he can poor his own milk without making a huge mess and more work for me. Usually it's just easier for me to do everything LOL!

My hubby works full time during the week and I work part time on the weekends when hubby is home to keep an eye on the kids (can you imagine what daycare for 5 kids would be LOL) it works for us right now. Along with the dogs we also have other pets an 18 yr old cat i'vr had since i was little named Kooi and a couple rescue bengals, and also pet mice, 5 bichir eels, and they are currently trying to talk me into a snake.. unnnhhh huh.. we'll have to see about that one LOL.

Thanks for the warm welcome/welcome back guys!

Hang in there girl it gets easier! ...I also have 5 kids with a space of 7 years 11 months between numbers 1 through 5 ...you are right for now you should stick to doing all you can yourself...its quicker and easier than trying to re-do it after someone else be it child or other adult has "helped" you :rolleyes2: ...welcome in :wave2:
