I could do that, it would be one of the hibiscus patterns as that is 2 of them and it takes up about 8" of collar. Ideally I would like to figure out a way to put the name in the center and the flowers off to the side...I think that would look better. Let me think about it..maybe I can sew the D ring in and not rivet it..then I can sew on either side of the I in Alice and it would not show up as much

hows that sounds ?

I guess, Smokey will be the first dog in Germany who will wear a collar mania collar! I've ordered one a few minutes ago.

What do you think, will this one fit my babyboy? http://k.b5z.net/i/u/6031113/i/21760078_o.jpg
They say "fighting dogs" grab on and never let go; and it's the truth! Smokey grabbed my heart and never let go.

Can somebody please just design me a stinkin' collar? I can never decide what I want, and don't have enough money for a collar for each day of the month.

I need help with Score's collar...

1.5" leather...with his name embroidered.

I'm leaning towards bright metallic blue or super soft navy blue...and Golden Blade font...but what thread color?

I also like the 1" celtic spiral concho...but not sure that would look good on the metallic blue or not? If I go with the concho...should I go with the darker blue?

Help me people!

I like the navy, but I'm not really into the metallics, so that may just be a personal thing. Then for thread, it depends if you want to go subtle or bright. I think the eggshell would look quite handsome, but if you want something more flashy, maybe one of the brighter colors :|

I think the navy would look smashing on Score. Font color is tougher - red would look sharp, yellow, white, etc. Navy is very versatile. And I love the Golden Blade font - that's the font I used on Inara's first collar.

I just ordered Inara's 3rd collar - just a basic red nylon everyday collar. Lisa, I think you need to do a frequent buyer program - for every 3 collars, you get one free. You know, something like that! :giggle:

Thanks...I'm leaning towards Navy now...I think the conchos will look nice on it. :D

Now for thread color...

I originally thought modest, but then I was caught up by the flashy. However, I seem to be coming back around to the less-flashy...that's Inara's gig.

The shiny stuff caught my eye, and I couldn't look away! But I think I'm settling on navy blue.

You all have to post pictures of their collars..I'm saving my pennies for Magic's collar and I'm really hoping one of you will have found the Magic combination..so to speak. I really just want to steal someone else's plan, because I can never make up my mind.

I started with the color, then the design. That is all I can help with. It took me forever. But I did know what color I wanted. :D

I knew what I wanted with Scoots...but Magic is a bit more difficult. Lisa doesn't have anything that says right out loud "I'm a barking pinhead".

Actually, in her "ready to wear" section, she has one that's red fabric with "woof" written all over it. It's cute. :giggle:
