It was a gorgeous day, couldn't ask for better weather. The fields in rural Oklahoma were covered in purple heather, which worked out well since that was "our" color.
I was more nervous than I have ever been, and I started crying immediately upon taking my husband's hands during the ceremony. (Embarrassing, because I hate to cry in front of people.)
I didn't trip in my ridiculous heels, and Paul was handsome and poised during it all. My mother behaved, for the most part, and with the exception of my evil brother in law, who crammed my truck full of metallic confetti, (yes, even the air vents), getting hitched went off without...well, a hitch!
