NEW HARDWARE

These will be added tonight. I took the pics next to a tape measure, so that our customers would know how big they are.

Twist 'N Locks- these are SOLID stainless steel and NICE. I am still going to try these out on Ella before I put them up on our site, BUT, I'm pretty sure NOTHING could escape these snaps!!! They're awesome. You have to actually twist the center piece to release the snap. And I don't believe they'll be releasing on their own.

Solid Stainless Steel thumb-release Bull Snap. Just like our other bull snaps, but made in pretty stainless steel.

Solid BRASS Original Bull Snap-We thought we'd try these out. They're pretty sharp looking and sturdy as hell. And they're available in beautiful brass!

Solid BRASS Swivel Spring Snaps-one of my personal favorites (besides the twist N Locks). I LOVE the spring snaps. They're easy to do and undone, but don't come open on their own. At least we haven't experienced that happening.

Here are pictures of two leads I made for Ella.

This one is made out of our "grasshopper" rope with the twist N lock snap.
All hardware is stainless steel.
We tested this out on Ella and it didn't open. The important thing with this snap is to remember to twist the middle part 180 degrees until it slides down into a lock position. It appears pretty darn unopenable to me.

And here's one I made for her out of a spare piece of rope our supplier sent us. I call it "Green X". This has all brass hardware with the new brass spring snap.

That first one is a cool looking snap

It IS a cool looking snap. It'll be nice for long walks, but is not so convenient for simply taking out to go potty. It entails just a little bit more work to open than other snaps because it twists and locks. But they're safe because you have to pull up on the center piece to move it/twist it, and then push down, once it's in place, to lock it shut.
