I was just sorting through some papers, throwing away some trash things that I probably don't need to keep. I ran across my vet bill from when I had the cat fixed a few weeks ago. I'm not sure, but something doesn't appear to be right... The items are as follows.
1- Penicillin 300,000 mg/ml injection $10.00
1- Tiletamine/ketamine/xylazine injection $25.00
(your pet was given anesthetic agents which can cause prolonged lethargy, vomiting and diarrhear. Call if symptons persist 24 hours after surgery.)
1 FVRCP - second $17.00
1- Rabies annual Feline $14.00
1 - Rimadyl (Carprofen) 50 mg/ml <50# inject $14.00
1 - Ovariohysterectomy - Feline any weight $80.00
Maybe I'm completely off here, but the second line item appears to be a charge for anesthia shouldn't that have been included in the cost of the spay? That was never mentioned as a seperate item, and I've never seen that previously on any other bill? I'm thinking they owe me some money back? I had knew she needed Rabies, and her second feline shots, plus consented to the after surgey pain shot. Don't know what the penicillin was for, nor why I paid for the above mentioned.
