Yet ANOTHER foster!!! :)

Postby juniper8204 » March 5th, 2008, 8:05 pm

I took this girl home yesterday. She's about 11 months old and has had a sad life so far. The first six months of her life was spent in someone's closet. Then, after all her brothers and sisters died (cause unknown), she went to the vet for a prolapsed uterus/vagina and had to have that repaired. The owners basically abandoned her there and she's been there since then. She'd never seen a cat before she got to my house; she was scared at first, but now is interested in chasing them...I'm gonna have to keep an eye on her. I'm trying to get her used to kids...I have a little girl, and she still doesn't know what to think about her. So far the only time she's spent around her is when she's in the crate and my daughter is running around the house. She gets the same look on her face as she does with my cats, so I'm afraid that right now she views small kids as "prey" or something she can chase. Gonna have to work hard on that one too.

I've named her "Jemima".
