When I first signed up for this website I mainly signed on out of curiousity. Then two months later, when Cyclops all of a sudden developed an abcess, I signed on again; Without this forum, I would not have made it that long night. I was a mess the next day, the trip to the vet was chaotic to say the least, Cyclops thought he was going for a joyride, he had such a high fever, and in pain, but he was happy. Once we got to the vet it was a different story, he fought us all the way in, I was very panicky and Cyclops picked up on my mood, he is the first dog that is so in tune to my moods... OMG when me and my hubby were in our first year of marriage, and we had arguments, Cyclops would go over to him and urinate on him. We laugh about it now. Back then my husband was not amused at all. Nowadays when we have a little spat, he just jumps on him and nips at him, harmless little nips. However we have decided these two plus the cats will probably be our last pets, I am 48, he is 44, my animals I am proud to say live a long life, not to say they are quite pampered. My last dog Clyde lived to be 17 years old, and the vet talked me into sending him over, that it was time, that was hard. But you all are stuck with me and the clan for life now, as long as my carpal tunnel allows me to type. Thank you.
