I was just going to ask about toys...I'm glad I found this thread...
So today is Layla's 2nd birthday...

and she got a kong ball and a new kong. She's really good about not destroying things that don't belong to her...she's never chewed shoes or socks or furniture or anything like that...but "indestructible" toys are absolutely not indestructible in this house. We get her the big black super kongs, and they get turned into tire turf.
We can't play with tennis balls because when she plays with them, they get crushed in her mouth when she runs back to bring them to you. Also, we've had to move to a kong frisbee because the plastic ones snap in her mouth when she runs with them to bring them back as well. (it's kind of funny seeing her bring them back...she'll drop them at your feet and then look like, "oh no mommy, i broke ANOTHER toy?!?!)
anyway, we are trying the kong ball and hoping this won't be destroyed in a matter of a few days. I don't mind her toys being destroyed that much, after all-they are her toys. I'd much rather her do that than chew on the couch. And I can't get angry at her, she's just playing. My question is...has anyone found any toys that are really good and tough?
We do have a few of the white marrow boys and she does really like those. They seem to be pretty sturdy and last a while. Every now and then she can break a piece off, so we keep an eye on her and just take the piece away from her.
Believe it or not, she loves stuffed animals...so just throwing that out for anyone who has super chewers---I know Layla is a rough chewer...but she carries stuffed animals around for hours and won't do anything to it.
Just looking for suggestions on some extra tough toys if anyone has any? Thanks!
