Note the word "possibility". That would mean "not for sure". If I said she will be specials quality, that would certainly be arrogant, but stating that there is a possibility is just... hopeful. And realistic, considering who her sire is, and that she appears to resemble him. And that much more experienced Stafford folks than I have been ooing and ahing over her pictures since she was a few days old.
Not sure I'd want to special a dog anyway, but I like to keep my options open. And if she turns out like it's looking she might, I won't want to spay her until after she's been bred, and that won't be for some years yet, so having the option of taking her into the breed ring now and then might be nice.
Of course, if she falls completely apart and doesn't come back together, that will no longer be an issue. But, I'd be an idiot not to prepare for all possibilities.
