Puccino nice pitty boy in our shelter

He is named so because he was found with some long deep scratches on his face like he had squeezed thru something and injured himself. So he had a "scarface" .

He is very sweet, sits so quietly at the front of his kennel and ignores all the crazy dogs carrying on. He is very gentle with kids and loves Wendy the groomers two kids. He does not mind cats.. ignores them.

He may be okay with other dogs, at this time every female dog he was tested with at the shelter acted like a snot and he was a good boy... I need to get to know him better, but my impression so far is that he is very sweet.

He is at Beverly Animal Shelter in Waterloo, NY

Home visit, veterinarian reference and application required prior to adoption.

He's been there for a couple of months now.. He was picked up as stray with those face wounds and nobody answered the shelters found ad in the paper, hard to believe nobody is missing this sweet guy.
Adult Pits don't get adopted in a timely manner to a proper home in my general area at all, but its getting better slowly.

He LOOKS and SOUNDS like such a sweet dog...I wish people could just look past the "pit" part for just a moment and see the love and kindess that he (and many other adult dogs) has to offer!!

I really am wishing him the best of luck!! His family is out there some where!!
