Mother and son two days apart.

Postby madremissy » January 17th, 2008, 10:55 pm

My husband's friend needs our prayers. Steve, a very close friend of my husband, his wife tragically passed away in her sleep on Monday night. Steve went in to wake her up and she was gone. She had just turned 51. She had a massive heart attack. She was a simple person and didn't like a lot of attention even though she showed everyone the attention they needed. She was cremated and there was a small service. Her two children a son , Jonathan 19 and a daughter 25 were her world. Jonathan was noticeably very upset. at the service and people were offering any kind of support we could think of. Yesterday morning Steve went in to wake up his pride and joy, once again in two days he had lost another part of his life. He took too many sleeping pills, not on purpose they believe it was accidental. I am so worried about Steve right now.

How tragic. Your friend will need a huge amount of support as he pieces his life back together.
