6 red nose pits in maryland need a new home

Crossposted from a rescue list....

(the I, is not me)

I just got a call from the Animal Control Officer who works for our
local Humane Society. He said there are six red nose Pitties that
are about to lose their homes because of the owners financial
difficulties. The dogs are very well kept...however, they are kept
in outside kennels. There are 5 females (one is the Mother of the
other five, and she is 6 years old); and one male. Three of the
dogs are 2-3 years old, two of the dogs are 3-4 years old. All have
papers and some have been "shown".

The dogs are still at the owner's house, as the Humane Society does
not have room for them at this time, and are helping the man by
giving him food for the dogs.

He is going to try and get some pictures, and I will post them as
soon as I get them.

He said they are extremely nice dogs, well behaved and very nice
looking.

Contact me at Goldib1004@aol.com if you think you can help. Thanks.
Heather
