FDNY Academy

Postby iluvk9 » December 30th, 2007, 8:14 pm

I went to Family Day yesterday. :) They showed us what they have been learning for the past 21 weeks. 2 more weeks to go till graduation.

The academy looks like a movie backstage lot. Two of the older trucks they use were also used on Rescue Me.

I don't know how I am going to keep my composure through graduation.

Yes he is! :yum:

Joyce, if you find any single hot firemen, let me know.

Yummy, when you weren't crying did you at least enjoy the other firemen in all their hotness?? ;)

Nice fireman you raised there, dear.

There are 272 in his class. One female. The remainder looked rather hot to me.

Get some phone numbers for me, then. And put a good word in, of course.

Thanks! He is so freaking SOLID from all the physical training. Their jacket, pants, helmets and all the other stuff they have to wear, are 60 pounds.

I like his girlfriend. :) We were together from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and just laughed and laughed the entire time.

It's too bad his girlfriend is gonna have her heart broken when he meets me and realizes that everyone else pales in comparison!

*ahem* Another reason why I said NO. I have nice furniture. Where would you sit when you came over to visit your MIL?

Their gear is like a week old. 8) Some of the instructors wore their gear. Obviously quite worn in.
