90 in a 60. I knew I was speeding ( that's a given) but had no idea how fast I was going until he turned his lights on. I have 10 days to pay it ( i don't even WANT to know how much it will be), any one up for a fund rasier? :stickDance:

go to court, the DA;s here always give you a deal of some sort.

In NY, the fee is $5 per mile over the speed limit... plus the 'mandatory' NYS fees and court fees.

thats why you should ALWAYS carry a bottle of immodium and a spoon and leave it in visible sight. you get pulled over , the CRAMPS start right away.... beg for a bathroom.. make sure the cop sees the immodium and the spoon......heeee :twisted:

Good one MaryEllen!! I'm going to call an attorney on Monday & see if i can at least get it reduced. The last one I paid was 45 in a 30 & it was $260.

You kid but I SWEAR that has helped me out many MANY times in the past. I got out of an Open Container once and I know that was the reason. I also got out of a possesion charge too. :bananaDance:

weeeeeellll, I tried that story once!
Didn't have the spoon/bottle, but told the cop I had the virus and was trying to get to my apartment/bathroom a.s.a.p.!
The &*@#er said, no problem, I'll follow you!!!!
And he did, went and parked right beside me and told me to come out as soon as I was "finished".
Darn if he didn;t have my speeding ticket all ready, just waiting to hand it over to me.
