Hi everyone. I'm not a pit owner, but a strong rescue advocate. I have two rescue dogs now, and volunteer with other rescues doing transports, fostering, etc.

My main purpose of registering here was to try and find a missing dog. Trudy got away from her new adopter on 7/22 of this year. She was last located in Berlin, CT, and the sightings focused on the Berlin Tpke area (both sides) and in and near Sage Park. There have been no sightings since August.

Hi, what type of rescue's do you have now?

Where are you located... are you in Ct near the missing dog, or somewhere else?

Welcome... tell us about your rescue's and about how you got involved in learning about this missing dog....

I sure hope she's found....

Sorry I haven't been back. Busy with school/work.

Anyway, I'm in CT, work and go to school full time, and help dogs in the time that is leftover. Hahaha.

I started just by adopting a beagle mix, then volunteering with the rescue he came from, then adopted another pup from the same rescue. My passion had always been with German Shepherds, but a friend on another board posted a wonderful story about a pit that she had rescued and was fostering. I followed her story and laughed and cried through all of it. That's when I fell in love with pits. After that I just kept reading as much as I could about them. I joined another forum and started volunteering with their rescue. I'm done with that now, and am just trying to help with transporting and local volunteering.

I have a 6 month old foster that I am having a hard time placing, and am trying to make connections to help me find him the best home. Thanks!
