Random pix from downtown Taipei, and a really big dog.

Everything that doesn't fit anywhere else!

Excuse for the bad quality of photos, I took these with my camera phone.

Check out this big dog, he weights 80kg, about 180 pounds. The owner say he got it from the high moutains of Russia. Anyone got any idea what the breed is? I really feel bad for the dog though, after walking about a block, he needed rest, I think it's just too warm for him, arctic dogs don't belong in the tropics.

The following are random pix taken down the street, I find them very funny & odd...it's crazy like this everyday here!

And...this guy is getting worked up for something, I couldn't stay long enough to find out what.....he was hitting himself on the chest and doing push ups, he wasn't asking for money or selling anything, and he had a sign with his ID photocopied.....very odd...

That IS a big dog. He looks like some sort of herding or guardian type dog. Your camera phone takes pretty good quality pics, actually!

Yup, it's an Ovchaka, but I though they were a livestock guardian breed and not a people guardian breed?

Cool! I never heard of those. The fur reminds me of Keeshond.
Those are cool pics- and pretty good from your phone even!

I don't think there's any more creative types here than any other places....but ppl here do some funky stuff though, never run outta things to see on the streets that's for sure. That guy in white & funky hat had me laughing on the ground with all his poses....he's there everyday, I wonder how much money he makes..... :stickDance:

I think you're right, livestock guardian. There's a supposed "rescue" in our area but apparently she's breeding and selling them instead of "rescuing" or so I've heard.
