Putting Jud to sleep today

Postby Wyldmoonwoman » October 9th, 2007, 6:21 am

I took in a dog named Jud last year, a few of you might know of him, I was a member of another forum when I took him in, he is slightly handicapped from a back injury, we were going for chiropractic care at a local holistic vet...the vet tech fell in love with him and adopted him last February. He has had a steady decline in his health, he is incontinent of urine and started to lose control of his bowels last week, he is having trouble walking, and stopped eating the other day. We are going to have him put to sleep this evening. I am sad.

This video was when we first got him, he could barely walk

What a striking boy! At least he won't be unhappy in his body anymore - he'll be running all crazy around the Rainbow Bridge, marking everything, and watching over you. RIP Jud.

I'm so sorry for everyone involved. He obviously found the best place to live out the rest of his life happily. RIP big guy.

I ordered his tombstone this morning, we are going to bury him in our yard because the lady that had him the past few months rents a trailer.

his stone is going to say "JUD" "Our lovable lug-nut" because we used to call him Lug-Nut

Also thanks for helping the tech out with a burial place and stone....

I am so sorry. But it really takes someone strong and special to make that decision to end a dog's suffering. he will be free of his body and able to run like crazy! Again I am so sorry!
