My fave is the first one, but I voted for #3 'cause I think it would work better with Panda's coloring. :)

lol I liked them all BUT #3, I dunno reminds me of snowflakes/winter time I guess... My second choice from one would be the last one, in either the pink or turquoise.

You crack me up!!!!!

Thank you to everyone for your suggestions!

sooo...I went with #1... for now! That one was ready to wear anyway. Im walking in the American Heart Association Heart Walk in two weeks and Panda is walking with me!! yay! She needs a new collar since I accidentally left her other collar on her when I took her to play with Sammy and it has since disappeared!!

I was really torn between 1 and 3. Maybe ill get her #3 and have her name embroidered on it. But by then Collar mania will have new fabrics and ill have to start all over again! They have so many cute ones to choose from!

I like the first one, but if that is the style you are going with, please be VERY attentive to the slider since there is no other hardware to keep it the correct size.

I thought those are mainly decorative collars? People use them alone? :o

I like #1 and #3, but I think the #3 might match her better...but I REALLY like #1...hard to say.

I think that is a great that you are walking in the Heart Walk and they are allowing to take Panda with you! :D She is going to be a great breed ambassador. How long is the walk?

thanks for the advice!! that collar is just going to be used as a decorative collar. the only time she has a leash on is walking from my apt to the car or when i take her outside for potty time. when i take her for a walk i use a gentle leader. its the only thing that works to keep her from pulling.

I love taking her with me on walks. The Heart Walk is a 5k. There will be other dogs there and its a great way to keep her socialized. She went with me on the Jingle Bell run last Christmas. Everyone around me kept telling me how cute and sweet she was. They just couldn't believe she was a pit bull. That made me so happy to know that Panda and I helped open some people's eyes to know that the breed isn't dangerous, its the owners that are. There was this little girl in a stroller next to us and Panda leaned over and gave her a kiss. It was adorable!

I have two of that style that I use alone, but they are specifically made for hard pulling dogs and have backup reinforcement to help prevent any shifting.

we should discuss that more in the training section.

That's an adjustable slide collar you ordered right?

I've gotten those before and used them alone and I've never had a problem.

Granted, I do double up on collars for training and for walks because I ALWAYS like to have back up. For a while after Ella got to that boxer, I even doubled up on leashes. I used two collars AND a harness and had one leash connected to the collars and one to the harness. But two leashes is too much to hold onto. There's no room for me to have a free hand if a loose dog were to run up to us.

I use Lisa's nickel double bar buckle collars a lot and her fabric chain martingales. NEVER had a problem and I have a very dog reactive dog. It's not even funny the acrobat stunts that Ella can attempt when she sees another dog. She's a collar escape artist, too, that's also why I double up. She may slip out of one, but I'm having a HORRIBLE day if she slips out of two collars.
