PASCO - The dachshund left on the doorstep of Tri-City Animal Control had to be put down Wednesday.

The 10 year old dog's injuries were just too bad. His condition just got too bad Wednesday and he started to get infections.

You flooded calls to the shelter asking to help and they say thank you for the support.

But one citizen is so upset that someone dumped this dog, he is offering a reward. It is illegal to abandon an animal.

The shelter's focus now is finding out who did this. They are asking for your help. If you saw anyone leaving a Dachshund on Monday morning or Sunday night, call the shelter.

You can leave and anonymous tip. The animal shelter wants to press charges.

Poor guy. :(

What type of injuries did he have? The article didn't say. Maybe someone found him hurt and brought him there?
