Well, I mean, it could be for the boy dogs, too, I suppose.

THIS is what people have been asking me for since we started Ella's Lead.
This should make some people happy.

THIS is what we found and ordered on Friday.

Oh, and I started a new thread because, for some reason, I could not reply to my old one.

HA!!! Those aren't MY monster toes, oh no!
That's the sellers! But I'll pass that compliment along

Jenn-
I have only washed the orange tree braid (which is under our rappel ropes and is an actual braided arbor rope) and the gold/white 1/2" nylon double braid. I washed them together, in a tied pillow case on delicate. I used Tide detergent and both came out clean as a whistle.
I don't know if they are dryer safe or not, because I don't put mine in the dryer. They are hung up until they are dry.

I'll wash a rappel lead and a mountain rope later to see how those come out, though I have soaked both a piece of rappel rope and a piece of mountain rope (a customer wanted to know if they float) and both came out fine. The water didn't ruin them. But I'm going to wash a lead of each anyway, because I want to see how the rope handles the banging around in a washer.

Didn't the metal part clang around a lot, even in a pillow case style bag?

See, I wondered the same thing. I would probably do something silly like tie thick socks around the hardware parts while I put them in the dryer.

When I put sneakers in the dryer, the noise is unbearable. 8)

I think I will just let mine air dry, if they ever need to be washed. :)

I dry my collars in a pillow case in a partial load of towels to kill the noise.

But I only dry them part way.

That's how I do Ella's collars, too.
I know they can be dried completely, but I don't like the dryer's wear and tear on anything. I don't dry my bras in the dryer so I don't think I should dry dog collars in the dryer.

Did you do that? Did you tie thick socks around the hardware to keep it from clanging around the dryer?

I've done that - I don't tie them though, I just slip the entire collar into a sock. Works like a charm!

It's hard to get a good pic of that rope's true color. So, what I might do is, tomorrow I'll take it outside and post a second pic within the product details.
It's very pretty.
And very girly (though those males comfortable in their masculinity, are more than welcome to get a pink lead!).

This also comes with our new hardware.

Hope you all enjoy...and order lol

Oh! and our standard hardware for this lead is different. It's made with zinc plated STEEL (solid STEEL) rope clamps and a chrome plated brass bolt snap.
That lead is NOT breaking.
Also! It floats!
