Gas....

Summer has the worst gas of any dog I've ever had. She could clear a room in a heartbeat. Could this be a type of allergy to her food or is there a supplement I can give her? Please help we are all green. :drool:

Natural Balance Sweet Potato and Duck only because that's what my lab ate and I still had a ton of it after he passed away, I just kept feeding it to her too. Maybe it's too rich?

From personal experience with two of my dogs, I've found that when I was feeding a food that contained sweet potato, they had obnoxiously foul gas! When I stopped feeding sweet potato, they stopped leaving green clouds in the room.

Try giving some plain yogurt with live cultures (Nancy's, Brown Cow, or Stonyfield are all good). I have to give about two tablespoons to see a difference. Vicki can clear a room with her gas, but the yogurt makes a big difference. If that doesn't work, you may have to try a digestive enzyme. I give the yogurt twice a a day at meals.
