Our friends Sarah & Jeremy came over with their pitbull Puppy Berkley yesturday so they could socialize him and play with our two dogs.
Petey was being too rough and hyper, so he had to wait until his daddy came in before I let him out to play with the other two dogs. (One adult per dog rule in my house with visiting dogs - just in case they fight.)
But in the meantime, Birdie and Berkley played and I used the opportunity to do some on leash work with Birdie, having her ignore the other dog and pay attention to me.
She is doing much better with ignoring other dogs on command.
Here are a couple pictures.....
Berkley and Birdie on the couch. A little blurry because at six months old, he doesn't sit still unless he's worn out. He was laying on her snuggling before I snapped this picture.
Pooped out puppy. After Mark came in - I let Petey out and the three dogs played, wrestled and ran around for about 2 hours.
