and some people will probably find them pretty fricken boring but some might not..meh..whatever...

i work in construction and we build ethanol plants so it's a lil bit more exciting than your normal desk job or whatever

they were all taken with my camera phone so some are better than others(there's not much lighting inside the tanks so they're a lil blurry)

anne washin equipment hah

carl installing blades in the whole stillage tank

gary standing on the shaft

distillation area

flying an agitator (big orange thing on top, if you look really close you can see my dad and brother guiding it in on top there)

gary messin around waiting for them to fly in the paddles for the fermentation tank

existing propane plant that they are tearing down so they can expand the ethanol plant

flying the shaft in

corn silos, took about 4 days to pour around the clock

Ethanol is great. You're helping to save the environment!!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Ethanol is bad for the economy, bad for consumers and bad for the environment. We all need to look at the whole picture when considering ethanol. There are much better alternatives. Hydrogen so far rules!

Those tanks are gigantic! Is the only way to get inside them by dropping you guys inside?? They better pay you unbelievable money! :o

lol nope no heels...steel toe boots all the way haha

the heat sux but we only get a few real hot days and thankfully we've only had one guy pass out from heat exhaustion.
i just try to stay in the shade as much as possible when it gets real hot

yup i work with some of my family
my mom is the office manager, my dad and brother gary are millwrights and my cousin is a laborer like me.

lol no they dont drop us inside the tanks, there are man holes on each tank, they only fly the equipment inside the tanks like the shafts, anchor chair, hubs and paddles
