I heard it was horrifyingly gory.

Has anyone seen Casino Royale? That's what we're watching tonight.

Yeah, I watched Casino Royale the other weekend. I usually am not a big fan of Bond movies but it was really good.

I liked it. It's a "reboot" of the franchise so don't expect a typical Bond movie.

Casino Royale was great.

And quite frankly, I'd rather rip my toenails out than watch Hostel again. It was the most disgusting movie I've ever seen, and two hours of my life I'll never get back. But enjoy!

Casino Royale was a great flick and I really liked Daniel Craig -- he's almost as good a Bond as Sean Connery!

How was Hostel?

Oohhh i really like Casino Royal aswell :D It was definately, as Demo dick has pointed out, not a regular Bond. The action scenes that the movie starts with are simply astounding!
I agree with Jenn that Daniel Craig was really good as Bond!

I have also heard that Hostel is super gory and have no desire to see it

Hostel was so so

I found myself laughing more than being freaked out. The gory parts weren't done well in my mind, so they came off kind of silly and fake looking. The first part of the movie resembled a porn flick

Oohh Layer Cake and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang were 2 really good movies :D!!! I really like Robert Downey Jr!

So i have watched 2 new movies on a plane.

The 1st choice was Zodiac which of course is about the infamous serialkiller that plagued SF during the 60s and 70s, and whom was never caught. Quite long (2½ hours), but rather captivating the whole time :) The only slight let down was the end which made me feel a little stumped, plus the fact that i couldnt read all the miniature text aftwerwards :x

The 2nd movie was Shooter. An actionflick that really shouldnt have been good. 1) Ridicously patriotic... 2) Mark Wahlberg as the main character... But it somehow manages to be quite a good actionflick :)

We watched The Devil Wears Prada again last night, it's a really good movie even though the ending is somewhat predictable. It's worth the watch just for the clothes and the shoes!

I rented Pan's Labyrinth as well, and I'm looking forward to that!

I bought Alexander (which has Val Kilmer in it), but I got the French version that also includes the original version in English. The funny thing is, I didn't realize that the DVD case was in French until I was most of the way through reading it. That's when I started concentrating and I had a hard time finishing it.

I think that is a picture of Val Kilmer's face on someone else's body.
