Actually, I suck at this business thing.

When we first started making these leads for sale, my boyfriend was like, "what should we charge for them" And I said,"...$10...?" And he said, "uh, no. I'll do the pricing, you are too soft hearted."

And I am. If it didn't cost us what it costs us to buy the nice rope and hardware, I'd give everyone a free lead. :P :D

Hey!!!!!
We added our Ready-to-Walk leads!!!!

http://ellaslead.com/ready_to_walk_leads

And, Michelle, I got some of those panic snaps that you suggested. We only got two and put them on two of our Ready-to-Walk leads to try out. If they are a popular enough piece of hardware, we'll add them.

We're also going to be getting the locking jaw snaps.

But we'll only buy a few of those at first and see how they sell.

Great, I'll order one in the near future. I train with someone who owns a pet store, so I'll be sure to show it off to her! Do you do bulk pricing for stores?

yes, we will sell wholesale. We're still pricing things, though.

But, sure, we'd be more than happy to work with stores!
These aren't hard to make, it gets uncomfortable hammering after a while, but they aren't time consuming to make.

The only thing I cannot guarantee is to constantly have the same rope. That's why our rope is marked "limited availability". The ones marked like that, are it when I run out. I have about 9 colors for the next year, that I should be able to get. They change the colors of the mountain rope yearly, and that's how they can tell how old a rope is.

But even if the colors change, they will be replaced with more unique looking rope.

I'm the only one who calls my rope supplier and is like, "I want this color of this and this color of that..." most people that call and get rope are more concerned with the functionality of the rope and not the color.

And, Katie, those shorts you want, would something like an agility tab do?
We plan on making those. Or are you wanting something with an o-ring on it that you can attach to another leash?

What do you mean? I definitely don't want to attach it to another leash....the leashes are 6 foot when you fold the one end to make a handle...they become shorter when you fold them to use over your shoulder...make sense?

Were you looking at the same one that I was on the Leerburg site?

I PMed you, Katie. Oh, I was on the leerburg site, alright, but I was on THE PULL TABS. D'OH. THAT'S what I thought you wanted. I didn't even scroll down all the way! It linked me directly to the pull tabs and I thought that those looked easy enough to make.

Did you like?

I think it's a tad cheesy, but the guy INSISTED that we make it since someone said their dog would be able to break our leads and hardware.

And that was our "weakest" rope (the rope only has a 4,000 lbs. weight limit or more, instead of a 7,000 lbs. or 9,000 lbs. weight limit)

Cheesy or not, I thought it was great to show it can pull a truck. I could have had Truman pull a VW for you.

I want to apologize for the fact that a good chunk of my customer gallery is missing. I screwed up when I went to add a pic and went to delete the pic and accidentally deleted the entire section. Needless to say I was SO PISSED. I threw a temper tantrum because of myself (ever get that mad at yourself for something stupid you did?) and was quite ticked for like an hour last night.

Ben told me it was alright that we need to reorganize that customer gallery anyway. He's so sweet. So once I get some extra time, I'll be re-doing it.

I was actually browsing your site earlier, and noticed that. I thought I just didn't find that "next page" thing that some sites have. 8)

well, when I went to add the picture, it made a "next" page and I didn't want that because I figured that most people aren't going to see it, or they aren't going to bother to look at it. So I was going to put the picture in a different section. That's when I went to delete the picture and deleted the entire section instead. MAN I WAS PISSED.
