RIP Czar.. aka Blue

Postby luvmypitties » June 19th, 2007, 9:02 pm

I got a call from the shelter that a woman brought in a 10 month old blue and white pitbull puppy. This puppy had a hard time walking. When I got there the shelter staff told me this woman let this dog who could not walk on its own, walk on its own and he ended up hitting his head on the hard floor everytime he tried to walk. she paid no mind to him. I carried him to my car and we were off the vet. He was as sweet as could be. I called him Blue until I could think of something better. Vet did everything. He had no reflexes in any of his legs, didnt feel the pinching all down his back or any of his toes. His owners let him be this way for over 2 months. He had a brain condition which caused him to be that way. It would get progressively worse. Carts wouldnt work because he had no strength to pull himself around. I made the decision after buying him a cheeseburger to end his suffering. He went to doggie heaven Thursday evening. RIP Blue, you are free to run!

Awwe RIP Blue! :(

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body; but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

You can say any foolish thing to a dog, and the dog will give you a look that says, 'Wow, you're right! I never would've thought of that!'
