Does anybody know where I could get a logo designed for my BSL group? I'd like one that's got Inara's face in it somehow. And preferably inexpensively as I'm funding this from my own under-funded bank account! :D

I know someone on another board that could possibly draw your dog up in illustrator as a cartoon.
But I'd have to ask her.

Do you have a specific pic in mind? Certain colors? Do you have the logo?

Here's what I'm thinking - an outline/cartoon-ish image of Inara's head from this photo ('cause she has great ears in it!):

Image

Then, I also want somewhere on there (really not picky - just something that looks good), our name - Banned Aid For Bullies.

I think I'd like b/w or greyscale just so it is cheaper to print out.

If any of you want to take a stab at it, that would be great! Please let me know beforehand what your price will be though. Also, you will of course get full credit for it (if you want to subtly incorporate your name/website on the logo itelf, that is fine with me) on anything it is printed on. Thanks, and let me know if you need more info. I'm very open - I just want something simple and eye-catching. :)

Something like this???

If I'm totally off the mark, I apologize - I've never designed a banner before...
But you can let me know what to change and I will give it another shot. :)

I do like it - I really like the way the pic on the left is done...is there any way to have just her head (no body/background) from the right picture, and have the same effect done as the left picture? And then it looks as though the pic on the left is a reverse image - could you reverse the pic on the right and do the same effect? So that essentially it's the same head shot (from the right pic), with the effect that's on the left picture, and have the heads facing the banner? Does that make any sense? lol

Thanks so much for doing that! If you can't figure out what I'm trying to explain, no problem. And if you do, well, I'll be more than happy to donate something for your efforts!

OY!

Okay... here's A. Image

...here's B.
Image

I can crop the head, no problem... now - using A. and B. - explain it to me again... :D
You want the same head on each side, facing the writing... that's as far as I "get it"...

lol Sorry!

I like the color/cartooning on A. If possible, can you crop B so that is just her head. Then put the effect from A onto the cropped B.

Is A a reversed picture? I'm thinking it is as her eye patch is actually on her left eye. So after cropping B and using the same coloring effect as A, can you reverse B so that both sides are the same picture, looking into the banner?

Oh I hope that made sense!

Yep... A is reversed...
You want cartoon like in A, but both B pics facing the writing... one normal, one reversed... and outlined head only... got it... I think...
What about the font? Want to keep it or want to pick something different?

:loveU: That's exactly what I wanted! Do you have the Papyrus font? That's always one of my faves. Although maybe the logo needs a bold, crisp font like in the first one you did...what do you think?

Also, if you want to incorporate your name in there for credit, please do so!!!

I'll check for the font, but can use the first one if I don't have Papyrus...
