Sorry - I didn't think Dudley suited him!

This dog is amazing. We really love him. I want him to find a GREAT home (no inquiries YET...)
His ear is still bad inside, but has improved a great deal from when he first arrived. We are hoping to cure it - new meds and more antibiotic drops...
He's had baths and brushings and ear treatments and more baths and brushings. He went to the beach with us and loved it, but he'd have loved it more had we let him SWIM...(no way - no more wet inside that ear!)

He is 94.1 lbs. today - down from 95 when we first weighed him. And not an OUNCE of fat on him...

He normally avoids looking straight at my eyes.

Dunno why he's doing this - Yawning probably but he looks like he's talking!

And one of "before" - this is the 1st day he arrived.
I never realized it but his left ear (right as you look at it) is actually hanging down LOWER than his right ear. I know that when he came here, his left ear was SO badly infected that the whole FLAP was swollen and hot and red...poor guy!!

He definitely looks better, especially his coat. What's wrong with his head? Why is it all sunk in and lumpy looking?

I asked our vet and she said he was either born like that or got an injury at some point.
He seems quite normal lol so I'm not too worried. But it could detract from his looks - adoption-wise :(

Just tell them he has MORE brains on the other side, so it looks lop-sided.

Well it's like he has a ridge 1/2 way up his skull. I can put the heel of my hand perfectly in the ridge on his forehead. As if someone "bapped" him real hard when he was a puppy! It's symmetrical other than that...

We (our vet and us) think he is only about 5-7?
His bloodwork was excellent so no chronic health things other than the ear...
Thanks Asa, we love him to pieces :)

Really? Maybe he is just prematurely graying.
