Who did THIS...????

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

Ouch. Musta been a big tough dog, huh!?
Would you believe...a Basenji mix with a broken leg!????

Yep she's at the vet and her left foreleg is broken, but not badly. It's healing...she was at the shelter like that :(
She was spayed, too, they found out, when they, uh, went to spay her.
Thank God she needed surgery already, to repair an umbilical hernia, it was not an entire waste of surgery.
To heck with looks or size - I will now choose dogs based on the potential cost of vetting (the higher, the better!), it seems like it's working so far, with Mr. Dental mess who needed 7 extractions (and he was a puppy!), Mr. Cherry eye and now Ms. Broken leg/Hernia.

Well, she's persistent - send her to a working home!

What is funniest is she's the single most MELLOW dog I've fostered here. She is named Serenity for that very reason. But just don't leave her in a crate... lol
