I guess I now have a kitten.

If it's a non-human, non-Pit Bull, family member, post it here!

I didn't want a kitten.

My husband calls on the way home from work (10:30 pm) and tells me, "Have I got great news! I found a cat! She is a few months old and I rescued her from the side of the road!"

Said "cat" arrives with husband. It is MAYBE 6 weeks old, still has his blue eyes and a male.

I now have to set up a dog crate, separate him from Bo, and not let the dogs eat him. I got a Vet appt. for tomorrow, cleaned his ears, bought kitten milk and baby food.

Right now he is in his crate looking at me. I don't know what to tell him.

I think he is giving me the evil eye in this one.

My friend from work wanted a kitten! She already has 2 cats. So, tomorrow after his Vet appt., he will be adopted!

Bye-bye kitten! :greenWave:

Well, I just brought her to the Vet and then to her new family!

No worms, negative for FIV, but she had ear mites. I had her first vaccination given. My guess of the age was corect: 6 weeks.

Her new family adores her! The kids were deciding who's room she will stay in for the next 2 weeks till she can meet the other 2 cats.

My vet gave me a big discount because he thought it was nice that I was getting her vetted before giving her to the family. :)

Now don't anyone tell my husband he was right, that it was a girl.....I made my Vet promise also.

Thanks! :) They haven't named her yet, but the son (10?) was the winner of who's room she slept in last night. He woke up at 6 am to take care of the kitten. His mom was very impressed, since he usually has to get up at 6:30 for school.
