RED EYES

Food, Fitness and how to keep them healthy.

Postby lmhn96 » February 21st, 2006, 11:53 am

My bully boy has really red eyes that seem to get worse then better. The vet said it was normal, but I'm still concerned. He always looks like he is on a drunk. LOL. His haws are also visable and according to standard, they shouldn't be. Does anyone know about this topic and is there a remidy, like surgery that is available. :?:

Can you post a photo? Is the dog white?

It is difficult to tell anything as that photo is so tiny and doesn't give attention much, to his eye area.

Well unless it's a cherry eye which it doesn't appear to be, it may be, in fact, normal. Maybe you need a 2nd opinion. :|

They are red pretty much all the time.and the haws are very visable. it could be genetics, but I've seen three generations and none have this condition. He really just looks like an old drunk. LOL Maybe I'll seek another vet's advice. I just don't want him to have any type of eye problems later down the road .
