I'd say he doesn't have much more weight to put on. He may have felt extra crappy because he was dehydrated when you got him? (you know how your joints feel when you're hung over-any adult drinkers? :lol3: )

at any rate, nice job, he looks like he feels so much better :)

Yes he was extremely dehydrated apparently. But it took a combo of him eating to become thirsty too!?
The night we got him back from the vet (he'd stayed overnight) he drank until his whole belly looked bloated. I was afraid he'd puke but he didn't.
God only knows where he actually CAME from, but it was not good, not good at all...
He's still pretty stiff and can't move MUCH but is doing better in that dept. too.
I think he could gain a good 8-10lbs. actually. He's still pretty bony but I bet in a month he won't be the same dog...

you'd be amazed, a few lbs can make a difference between trim and fit and what looks slightly emaciated ;) Plus remember with his joint problems you want him lean ;)

he really looks like he feels better though, how much higher hes holding his head, like he hurts less and has more energy. And IMO, he looks much less hunched then he did before, like hes ok with distributing his weight more now. Hes got some muscle mass now too :)

Moses looks fabulous... like a whole 'nother dog! Great job Vette!
