If they look very chow like and are enormous that would say Tibetan cross to me they look like giant chows with floppy ears. Did a lot of research on them when I was thinking about getting one. Great dogs but incredibly independent will consider the commands that you give but if they don't think that the command works for them for the moment they will do other wise. Personalities are like a chow to devoted beyond reason to the owner but are not always keen on strangers (polite tolerance unless they feel the person is a threat to their family). If you look at a few Tibetan sights you will see the resemblance that I am talking about

The black one looks SO Patterdale Terrier mix to me! I think if dogs have short legs they're too quickly called Corgi mixes. I really don't think there are that many Corgi mixes out there... LOL.

I can't call the 2nd/3rd breed mix though, but it did scream Patterdale to me.

The 2nd brindle fluffball is so CUTE!

I'm such a dork. I thought you guys meant the tiny fluffy puppies(???). The black dog went to OR Humane, after being w/us 3 weeks with little interest, we were beginning to feel really bleak about adopting him out. The day we got home, a guy wrote - I told him where to find the dog.
OR Humane was happy to get him and said he'll get adopted quickly.
The brindle pup got a home quickly and with someone used to large breed dogs, I haven't gotten an update lately but will ask them for one!

Only problem is that he doesn't look wiry enough and no spotting on the tongue. My breed of choice before my Am Bull saw a chow and I could re site just about anything about them back words and forwards. A black or blue tongue in chows is a dominant trait and will carry through to the pups even if it is only a few spots or black mouth lining. With such a pink mouth I don't see where chow in possible
