10 days after the incident, Elmo had his sutures out today. Look at his leg!
The vet did a fabulous job on the suturing! I expect a full recovery, and Elmo should look like he had surgery, rather than looking like he belongs to a dog fighter.
Tully is off getting spayed today. We miss her. She's getting spayed at the other vet, the one that did her AI. They keep the dogs overnight for a spay, which seems like overkill to me, but I do trust them, and they were considerably cheaper than this other clinic. She's doing well, too!
Now if the weather would just allow us to get the fence up... my neighbor said he'd have some time to work on it this week, if the weather allows. My neighbors also volunteered to pay the whole cost of the fence! Score! It's a combination thank you for allowing the gates to be moved back a little deeper on the lots (I don't care... it's that much less shared fenceline!), so he can back his boat in, and an apology for how bad my dogs got beat up. Not that this is their responsibility, of course! But, I'll let them pay for the fence anyway.
