Hippy Chick

Tess AKA Pudge, is the elderly Pom we have here now. She's got horribly rotten teeth and a possible heart mumur plus she's overweight. One thing at a time. She's on diet food - r/d (I KNOW I KNOW but it's SOFT) and a supplement. She had to have a complete shavedown since she had weeds embedded in her fur and undercoat. The poor dog had sores under the fur mats from the weeds and the mats.
She's grouchy with the other dogs but fine w/people except little kids.
We have a dental appt. set up for her next week to get teeth cleaned and extracted.
She HAD to have this new T-shirt today. She's a Hippy Chick!

Even Jeff agreed it was "her color"

I find it helps them find homes. Shoot I should have gotten one for poor Allegra who is just a solid black dog!! I sense another trip to Petco coming on!!
BTW Tess/Pudge weighs 9.8 lbs. :shock:

She SHOULD weigh 5...

Amazingly (to me anyway) we've had about 5-6 application requests thus far! I have a home who wants her next week after her dental.

I'd say 2 weeks is average. But that's for your no-vices or other problem dogs. The ferals will be here longer.

Yeah for some reason I keep thinking of Ollie too, she does remind me of her!
I got an inquiry on her this evening from the guy who adopted Charlie, the 1-eyed Chihuahua from the Shelter almost 2 (?) years ago!!
It would be a great home. They have Charlie see a canine cardiologist.
