I think spell checker is the downfall of society as it encourages people to let others pick up their mistakes. I hate it with a passion and turned it off.

I'm really not that fanatical about it, but I did turn it off. :wink:

What NERVE!! I turned it off because it drove me NUTS!! I use Mozilla at home & the new version picks up on mispelled words, sort of like Word. It doesn't SPELL them for you, just let's you know that you screwed up. Pffft, like I care.
