In memory of my Daddy

Postby friskycatz » March 7th, 2007, 10:49 pm

My father was diagnosed with brain cancer and passed away a few weeks ago, heres a tribute i made to him, if anyone can tell me how to add music please let me know. Edited to add that this is unfinished as i still want to put some pics of my daddy walking me down the aisle, and giving me to my husband.

Thanks guys this has been really hard for me, My husband warned me about denying his death, although its been but a few short weeks since, its hitting me hard now, if that makes any sense. I miss him dearly, i will always be a daddies girl.

Yes it makes perfect sense! I have lost it weeks after a loved one died, and never shed a tear once before hand. I truly am sorry, I love my father to death, can't imagine him gone.

I'm sorry for your loss.

You can add music in Windows Movie Maker, I can't detail how because I've only done it a couple of times, but they have a very comprehensive help file.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I lost my dad to brain cancer 15 years ago. Your tribute & tattoo are beautiful! He looked like a well loved man. You will grieve in your own time, I must tell you though....it never gets better, you just get used to it. He will live forever in your heart. Hold him close.

Seeing the pictures reminded me a lot of when my mom went through her cancer treatments. I am so sorry you lost him. *hugs*

Don't put any time restrictions on your grieving.

You'll know yourself when you are ready. It's definitely a tough situation to go through.

My father was killed 16 years ago from this last February 23rd. I've NEVER cried.

Doesn't mean I won't. I just haven't yet. I grew up in an instant that day, and never had time to look back or cry.

In all honesty, I'm quite afraid of what it/I will be like when I finally do.

Yes it is very hard to lose a parent, the song i'm going to put on the slide is by Kenney Chesney: Who you'd be today. One of daddy's favorites.
