You are free Gracie

Postby luvmypitties » March 8th, 2007, 12:24 pm

I couldn't do it anymore. After waking up this morning to her shaking her head for what must have been 15 minutes straight, i couldnt let her live like this. Gracie is now free from her itchy imprisonment. She wagged her tail the whole time like a good girl. I wish I could have done more for you sweet girl, like find you a family of your very own and given you back the great body I am sure you had! You were a good girl, I will miss you so much. You will live on in my heart and through the other rescues I will take in. I will never forget you and your squinty eyed face! I love you Gracie. Rest in itch-free peace. You can run with the angels now!

You did the right thing, allowing her to now be pain free. RIP Gracie.

You showed her love & kindness when she needed you. You gave her the best you could. She died knowing love, maybe for the first time. Run free sweet Gracie, play hard.

Thank you loving Gracie. What a lucky dog she was to have met you. Gracie left this world knowing what kindness and love was. I know she will forever be in your heart.

I'll admit I teared up, but more from being happy for her. You gave her love and did the best you could for her. Her last weeks were filled with good things.

RIP beautiful Grace... :(

Tina, I think you did the right thing, and I hope you know in your heart that you did so. You showed Grace such love and compassion in the short time she was in your home. She died knowing what love was. :hug3:
