So URLs are now not allowed in sigs?

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! Doing whippets behind the police station.

What happened was I went to change my sig and it says that I can't put in urls anymore, even though my old sig (which is only a few weeks old) still is a url. So I didn't know if it was a new rule and my sig was just grandfathered in by the system (until Michelle sees this and deletes it on me ;) ), or if something is messing up.

I wanted to bump this up. The same thing just happened to me. I tried to turn the auto spell checker off, and it told me the URLs in my signature were forbidden BBC code.

At the present time, no BBC code is allowed in the signatures. I have to unload a MOD I did to the forum and I haven't had a chance to dig through the code and remove it. It's easy to put in, a PITA to remove.

Thanks for your patience!

you can turn off the spell checker in your profile. got any other complaints? I'll need hard copies in triplicate, make sure they are notarized and sent via registered mail.

Michelle, the same error is still happening. :)

try this:

go to your profile and delete your signature file. submit the changes. now, go back to your profile and change the spell check setting. submit the changes. now go back and put your sig file back.

let me know if that works.

I can't get the error to come up for me, so you'll have to trouble shoot for me.

That seems like a hell of a lot of work to me. Remember, now, I'm uber-lazy.
