Martini - for Purple

Post your pics and vids here.

Here's Martini, our BT foster. I don't have many photos of her since she's not very cooperative when I pull out the camera. These are my two favorite:

Okay, so how quickly can you get him to MA? Damn that boy is ADORABLE!! I'm a sucker for a BT.

Well, one of Martini's downfalls (if you want to call it that) is that she does not do well with other dogs. She's fine on leash around them if you watch her and don't let her get away with anything but off lead is another story.
When she first arrived I tried to introduce her to Kimber since she was just a puppy and not dominant. However Martini played really rough (borderline fight behavior) and after 2 sessions Kimber refused to play with her at all. She'd run and hide because Martini was so rude.
I also tried to introduce her to my friend's Boxer who doesn't have an ounce of dog aggression in him. Martini was on lead and initially they just bumped noses and wagged but within a minute or two she was leaping on his shoulders and grabbing his neck roughly.
It gets weirder...she's afraid of cats! Go figure that one out.
She's fine behind a baby gate of fence with another dog on the other side and she's learned not to bark at the other dogs when she's crated but she really needs a home without other animals. I would consider placing her in a home with a docile male and an experienced owner as she might be fine with long introductions and a non reactive dog.
The upside is that she's crate trained, completely housebroken, good with kids, etc.

Nevermind on that one. I think Martini may need to be alone.

Oh man . . . what a looker---outstanding!

BT's play really, really rough, and it is prone to escalating. I've noticed alot of them are very much "ready to rumble."

Great name, too. :)

HEY! Why didn't I know you had a BT foster? I absolutely *must* meet her before she goes home. No doubt about it.

For that adorable egg head?? OF COURSE!!!

I should note I've managed to lose my birth cert, however, so I would probably need someone to meet me on the US side of the border...

Depending on the day, I could possibly help out with transport as well. Let me know!

I have my eye on the LAPD SWAT model with the light rail. For the overall quality, they are actually very reasonable in price. My brother has that model and when Michelle and I went to visit last year we shot up the countryside. She got to shoot a bunch of those big bad assault rifles you always hear about too.
