Ultimate Air Dogs Dock Diving in NJ (LOTS of pics)

Weight pull, Protection, Agility, Flyball... you name it!

Postby Marinepits » February 19th, 2007, 3:24 pm

Ultimate Air Dogs held a dock diving event at the Pet Expo in New Jersey on February 9th - 11th. Here's some video -- Enjoy!

The puppy shown at the end is Abraham, soon to be a dock diving champion. :D

Here is Parker the Blabrador at his first-ever competition. He took first place in his division!

And here is Rebel, a 16 month old Labrador that LIVES for his tennis ball toys. He is simply amazing and I can't wait to see him in National competitions.

I'm not sure who this dog is (Molly? Maggie?), but she was really impressive!

Image

And this is a Terv that is part eagle -- I've never seen a dog fly like this! Several times it seemed like she was going to jump right over the end of the pool.

Here are the kids that stood in the "splash zone". They got SOAKED!

That just looks like so much fun! It's amazing how far some of those dogs go. Do you think my apartment complex would mind if I taught Inara to do that in the pool this summer?

I know the lady with the Turv. Her name is Anna and the dogs name is Pico. That dog is amazing and has a personal best of 25'10" and has a littermate that lives out west that has a PB of 26' and another littermate that does agility and was at the IDC competing for the national championships which was recently televised. That litter turned out to be amazing.

Please tell Anna next time you see her that we were all mightily impressed! My jaw hit the floor every time Pico soared off the dock!

I would love to see more dock diving on the East Coast, hint hint.

there was dock Diving in Rochester at the convention center last summer, I guess everyone's going to have to make the trip this year! They only advertised it for about three days though.

Oh, COOL! That's fairly close to me and Labpaw -- I'll let her know. Thanks, Brian! :D

Is that run by UAD, SplashDogs, or another organization?
