Despite the fact she's a Poodle (and less than 10lbs!)
So I bought her a dress:

Isn't she adorable?
She's less nippy now, well she isn't at ALL since the eye and her surgery incision has healed.
I think she's adorable!

I LOVE how you dress these dogs!

I am surprised she hasn't been scooped up. When I was working at the private shelter, we kept lists of people who wanted small dogs. Literally 10 people a day would inquire about them.

Do you "showcase" them so people know what you have available?

I think she would be a GREAT dog to "market" towards seniors.

I don't know about seniors. She's actually quite active and playful, I'm thinking she's younger than what they thought.
Showcase? Like on my front page of petfinder?

Well, how do people know about your dogs available, other than Petfinder?

Our private shelter not only had an actual shelter, but got the word out through Vet's offices, friends in the local newspapers, signs in supermarkets and pet stores, etc. We did homechecks so it didn't matter HOW we got people to notice the dogs/cats.

Ohhh good idea. I could possibly post pics at our vet office.
I have been putting them on craigslist, to get them noticed, the adoption procedure and checks are all the same after they email me however.

This may sound dumb, but I wonder if that weird flash going on in her eye is turning people off??

I don't know enough to help you with it, but maybe Michelle can tell you how to fix it or take pictures that don't make the dog's eyes look possessed?

No she's living with a woman who owns an art gallery, in Bothell! And she eats cooked chicken/rice/vegetables and eggs. She's spoiled rotten!
